FFF 2018 Under the Auspices of the President of the Czech Republic

Events organized within the FUTURE FORCES FORUM 2018 will be again held under the auspices of the President of the Czech Republic, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The representatives of the Military Office of the President of the Czech Republic, and representatives of the Castle Guard will again actively participate in the FFF programme.

MILITARY OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC

The First Section is engaged with providing and implementing the execution of the constitutional authorities of the President of the Republic as the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, management of the Castle Guard and the administrative agenda of the Military Office of the President of the Republic.

The Second Section is engaged with providing and implementing analytical and information support for the President of the Republic within the field of defence of the Czech Republic, and is further responsible for analysis, assessment and preparation of source materials for the decision-making and working conduct of the President of the Republic, in co-operation with the relevant sections of the Ministry of Defence.

CASTLE GUARD

The Castle Guard is a Brigade-equivalent military unit with total strength of 715 personnel, including 73 commissioned officers, 96 senior non-commissioned officers, 503 non-commissioned officers and 43 civilian employees.
